I really like it when Blizzard adds one or two fundamentally important mythic mechanics that significantly change the fight. Like you said, the first 7 encounters are basically more of the same, just more chaotic and hence punishing. It's been a *long* time since we've had a proper hard-enrage fight like Guarm as well, it's all soft "well we just keep throwing more shit at ya till you die"-enrages which really aren't that hard to deal with, or the hard enrages aren't "hard" enough that you ever see them happen due to lack of actual dps.Yeah I have to agree with you here, I was expecting a lot more out of some mythic encounters. That's 33% of the encounters that, essentially, has no change from heroic except numbers, and numbers are super forgiving on anything that isn't Jaina. ![]() Because the strat is "zerg bwomsamdi" we never see adds downstairs. It disappears for 5 seconds after dispelling too, so it just becomes a "are your dps druid/mage/shaman able to hit decurse on cd". Guardians of light - no changes from heroic to Mythic given boss dies before second set of adds ever becomes a real thing to deal with.Ĭonclave - a debuff that has almost zero impact on the fight you gotta dispel. ![]() Mythic is very un-inspired mechanically speaking.
